HOw i got here

15 years ago I was ready to explode from a lack of time, lack of connection, and lack of natural beauty around me.

I was living in Boston and doing interesting work that required me to get on planes and travel at least two weeks per month. But most weekends, after landing, I would get in my car and drive to Vermont. Having been a road warrior for years, I decided to just move to Vermont and fly from there. When I moved to Vermont, I never imagined I would earn a living there.

Vermont turned out to be amazing, but living in a rural area, working from home, and traveling meant I had no way to meet people. So, I started joining nonprofit boards. This changed everything.

While on the board of a food and farm advocacy nonprofit, the founder had the idea of starting a business accelerator. I took it as my board role to help with the fundraising for the accelerator. Once we got funded, I was tapped to run the program.

I love nothing more than working with changemakers, so these entrepreneurs were really my people.

It was in this role that I learned I was good at analyzing financial statements and helping people understand what was working and not working in their businesses.

With my background in tech and a knack for breaking down complex stuff into bite-sized pieces, I found my calling in how I can help the people I love being around.

Things began to click. One entrepreneur I worked with was passionate about the environment but did not realize that his business model was draining his savings. We worked together, devised a new plan, and saved him from financial disaster.

This journey led me to start Creators Financial. It’s not just a business; it’s my way of contributing, of making sure these incredible people can keep doing their important work.
